The Lamastus family produces rare estate coffees across three farms in Boquete, Panama: El Burro Estate, Luito Geisha Estates, and Elida Estate. These farms sit on the volcanic slopes of Volcan Baru at some of the highest elevations in the country, where young volcanic soil, cool mist filled microclimates, and deep forest shade slow the maturation of each cherry. Hand picked by the Ngobe Bugle Indigenous community and processed with care, these coffees are known for density, clarity, and refined character shaped by altitude and pristine cloud forest conditions.
From this trio of world class estates, we selected El Burro Estate for its unique environment and balanced profile. Grown at 1,575 - 1,800 meters in Potrerillos, Dolega, this farm benefits from cool nights, slow ripening, and clean cultivation practices that elevate both Geisha and Catuai.
We selected Geisha from El Burro Estate in Lot 17, harvested in March 2025. Grown at high elevation in the cool mist filled slopes of Potrerillos, this lot reflects the slow ripening and clarity that define the Lamastus family’s terroir.
